Who are we?

We are just a group of ordinary people who follow Jesus, gathered from several churches in the Woking area, who have joined together to offer prayer for healing, because we believe God loves you and can heal you from any illness.

 

Why do we do this?

We believe that God is alive, powerful and that he longs to have a loving relationship with you. Jesus Christ came to Earth and through his death on the cross showed his love for you. He rose from the dead, proving that he was God and he sent his power here to give you a chance to start again. Jesus can fulfil your deepest needs, forgive any wrong doing, and heal your hurts. We see this     happen within our churches and feel compelled to share this good news with  others. Healing is one way that you can encounter God's love and power in your life.

 

How do I find out more about God?

Our hope is that you will want to find out more about God. When we pray with you we will give you a booklet called “Why Jesus?” as a small gift to help you on your journey of discovery. Being a Christian is about a living relationship with a living God, there are a number of practical ways that you can begin to do this:

 

Join a Church: The church is a place that God has created as a way for people to move on with him. You would be very welcome at any of the churches listed below.

Read a Bible: There is a Christian bookshop called Origin based at Christ Church Woking (opposite Starbucks), where you could buy a bible. We recommend the “TNIV” or “The Message”, as they are easy to read. Start with the New Testament , which will tell you about how Jesus heals   people.

Pray: Prayer is talking with God. If you have come to a place where you would like to know God better, then start the conversation.    

Talk to Christians: Come back and ask us any questions that you have, join a church, or start talking to some Christian friends you have.
