At Woking Vineyard we strive to be good friends who love sincerely and deeply. We clothe ourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, patience and love, which binds us in unity. We bear with each other and forgive one another. We help those in need and are inventive in hospitality. We laugh with our friends when they're happy; we share tears they're down. We make friends with nobodies; we don't try to be the great somebody. We discover beauty in everyone.
At Woking Vineyard we are never jealous of others' success, nor are we boastful and proud. We are not 'stuck-up' or snobby, looking down on others. We are never rude or insensitive to other people, no matter how different they might be. Neither are we bossy or controlling. We are not easily offended, and we don't hold grudges (even when we might feel justified in doing so).
Rather, we delight in helping others to discover their gifts, and succeed in life. Vineyard is a church that cares about the injustices we see in the world and passionately advocates for those who need a helping hand. We are people of integrity who love truth. We never give up, never lose faith; we are always hopeful, and we endure through every circumstance.
